Z & C purlins
Purlins:
Purlins are essential structural elements used in roofing and wall support systems. They are typically made from cold-formed steel or roll-formed sections, providing strength and stability to the building structure.
Z Purlins:
Z purlins are named for their distinctive shape, resembling the letter "Z" when viewed from the side. These purlins have a vertical flange and two horizontal lips, making them ideal for supporting roof panels and providing lateral bracing. Z purlins are widely used in construction projects due to their versatility and ease of installation.
C Purlins:
C purlins, on the other hand, have a different profile, resembling the letter "C" when viewed from the side. They feature a single horizontal lip and are commonly used as roof joists or wall studs. C purlins are known for their strength-to-weight ratio and are often preferred in applications where weight is a concern.
